HeinOnline has recently completed their run of Utah Session Laws, taking them back to 1851. This is a tremendous asset to Utah legal researchers, as HeinOnline’s Utah session laws previously only went back to 1980. Our thanks to the Utah State Law Library for working with Hein to get this collection completed.

Our subscription to HeinOnline has included the Session Laws Library for several years now. This digital library should be your first stop for finding state session laws. Hein has been working on digitizing the complete run of session laws for each state, but most have not reached completion yet. Utah is now one of a handful of states that go back to inception. Session laws that are not yet available on HeinOnline can be found in the library’s microfiche collection.
