The law library is pleased to announce that the new Quiet Reading Room in the southeast corner of the main floor of the library is now open for law student study. Additional furniture for the room is still arriving and will be added as soon as it comes, but the room is now available for use. Swipe card readers have been added to the doors to allow access to law students only. This room was designed to create a place for quiet study, so please help us keep it quiet in there.
With the addition of this quiet study space, law students will no longer have access to room 472 (the old quiet study room). 472 is used for certain law school events and, therefore, could not always be used for student study. With the addition of the new Quiet Reading Room, students will now have a dedicated place for quiet study during all hours the library is open.
