As you’ve passed by the Reserve Library, you’ve probably noticed the Roman Plates exhibit we are hosting this year. More details about the exhibit can be found in this blog post I did last month. We are now proud to announce that the Law Library will be hosting a lecture by Professor Jack Welch titled “The Legal Significance of BYU’s Roman Bronze Plates.” This lecture will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Moot Court room. Following the lecture there will be refreshments and a tour of the exhibit. Professor Welch has informed us that he will be bringing the roman plates to the lecture. We hope you can join us.
