American history has always fascinated me. So, while this doesn’t deal directly with law I thought I’d share it anyway.
The Library of Congress Blog has reported that with the death of Harry Landis last week, 107-year-old Frank Buckles is the last living U.S. veteran of World War I. (see the post here – you have to scroll down as there is a problem with the formatting). The post also mentions the Library’s Veterans History Project, which contains the oral history of Frank Buckles and others.
I am grateful for the bravery and dedication of those who have served and do serve in our military.
