The Bluebook, whether you love it or hate it, is something you’ll become quite familiar with in law school. Now there’s a new option for purchasing and using The Bluebook – an app for Apple iOS. The Bluebook app will be available on the rulebook app, an app developed by Ready Reference Apps . Users can download the rulebook app for free at the App Store and then purchase the Bluebook app for $39.99. The press release notes that, “The app incorporates all the functionality of paper rule books, such as highlighting, bookmarking and note-taking, and adds functionality unique to digital devices, including searching, hyperlinking and multitasking.”
The Bluebook is also available in an online version for an annual subscription fee. Users can also take advantage of discounts for a mutli-year subscription: 1 year costs $32, 2 years, $42, and 3 years, $50. The print version is still around and can be purchased for $34. The Library also has several copies that can be borrowed from the circulation desk for a 2 hour checkout period and a few behind the reference desk that can be looked at in the library.
