The 1L briefs are in and now it's time to turn our attention to oral…
Today is the first Monday in October, which means that the United States Supreme Court is back in session. The start of a new term always reminds me of some of my favorite resources to find Supreme Court information. SCOTUSblog is my absolute favorite. If I need information about what’s going on at the Supreme Court, especially briefs and other documents for cases before the court, I turn to SCOTUSblog. The Oyez Project is another of my favorites, as it contains audio files of Supreme Court oral arguments. Oyez has traditionally been the best place to find audio of Supreme Court oral arguments, although there will be another option for recent arguments starting this year. The Supreme Court has recently changed its policy of releasing audio files of oral arguments. Previously audio files were not generally released until after a Supreme Court term. Now audio will be released each Friday after oral argument and will be available on the Court’s website. See the press release.
