Above the Law has recently reported that mega-firm Locke Lord Bissell & Liddell is now…
Loislaw is a low-cost alternative to Westlaw and Lexis. While it doesn’t have all the bells and whistles as those two, it does provide primary legal materials in a searchable format for a reasonable price. A number of law firms use Loislaw as a way to cut down on Westlaw/Lexis costs. In the past Wolters Kluwer, the owners of Loislaw, have made Loislaw freely available to law students. That changed over the summer, but the library has decided to subscribe to the system for the benefit of our students. Students can now access Loislaw here or through the A-Z List of Recommended Online Resources found on the Law Library’s webpage. If you are accessing Loislaw from off-campus or through the wireless network you will be asked to authenticate with your Route Y ID and password.
