Our last Library Research Workshop for fall semester will focus on tax law research. Tax research, an area of administrative law, is a highly specialized field that is very different from the litigation-focused research skills taught during 1L Legal Research & Writing. Tax law has a number of unique resources like letter rulings, revenue rulings, and tax management portfolios that are critical in tax practice. This session will be held at noon on Tuesday, October 12th.
This 30-minute session provides an overview of tax-specific research tools geared towards students taking tax classes, researching or writing about tax law, or considering a career in tax practice. A box lunch will be available to grab afterwards. Register at https://law.byu.libcal.com/event/8360211?hs=a.
