Tired of studying at your carrel? Struggling to find a quiet spot free from distractions? Or maybe you just need a change of scenery to get your mind working again. The law library has several hidden and unique study areas that might be just what you’re looking for!

First Floor Study Rooms: Many students enjoy using the group study rooms on the second and third floors of the library—but did you know there are two additional study rooms located on the first floor? Tucked away on the south side of the building, these rooms are often overlooked, making them a great option for those willing to venture downstairs.

Quiet Reading Room: Found on the east side of the second floor, the Quiet Reading Room offers a large, distraction-free environment equipped with tables, desks, and carrels. Because only BYU law students are permitted here, individuals are required to scan their ID before entering. It also has comfortable lounge chairs, making it the perfect place to recharge or take a nap!

Zoom Booths: Need to take a call, conduct an interview, or simply study without distractions? The Zoom Booths, located on the north side of the third floor near the stairs, are nearly soundproof and designed for single or two-person use. These booths provide a quiet, enclosed space for uninterrupted work.

Standing Desks: If you like to stretch your legs while you study, then the brand new standing desks on the north end of the third floor are just for you! Adjustable to your height, these desks offer a spacious surface, built-in charging station, and comfortable setup for long study sessions.
