Don’t miss the FCIL Fall Seminar for this week! This workshop will provide a comprehensive overview of research techniques and resources for foreign legal research, covering civil law, mixed, and religious legal systems. Practical demonstrations will include searching JuriGlobe, Hein’s Constitutions of the World, and the Library of Congress’s Foreign Gazette Collection among others. Participants will gain experience in locating and interpreting laws published in official gazettes, as well as develop familiarity with accessing legal documents from multiple jurisdictions.
Whether you’re prepping for paper, moot court, or just want to expand your legal research skills, this seminar will give you the tools to confidently perform foreign legal research across multiple jurisdictions.
