One of the things Valentine’s Day makes me think of is poetry. That probably comes from the fact that my mom used to write us poems for Valentine’s Day. The only poetry I remember attempting were assignments in school, which is where I first learned about Haiku. Haiku has had a way of reappearing in my life from time to time and this time it relates to the law. Supreme Court Haiku is by its own description (and in Haiku):
“The Law of the Land
In Seventeen Syllables
Supreme Court Haiku”
This is certainly a creative look at the law. The creators of the site don’t even post a disclaimer without doing it in Haiku:
“As should be quite clear
Haikus aren’t legal advice
Consult a lawyer”
Happy Valentine’s Day!
