The deadline to submit an entry for the International Law & Technology Writing Competition has been extended to December 31st! This writing competition is very accessible because it requires only a short, 1,000 word article written in blog style. Heavy footnoting is discouraged but in-line hyperlinks can be used (also blog-style). The grand price is 1,500 pounds and a three-month internship.

The theme this year is the past, present, and future of law and technology, which allows for a lot of great topic possibilities. For more information and the official rules, visit the Writing Competition 2022 page.

Not interested in this competition but interested in competitions generally? There are many other great writing competitions out there for law students. Check out the Access Lex Law School Scholarship & Writing Competitions Databank.

Good luck!
