All law students have access to the digital NY Times through the BYU Law Library. Right now you might be thinking, “I didn’t know that! How do I access my account?” New law students should have received an email from the New York Times two weeks ago with instructions. “But what if I’m not a new student or I didn’t see that email?” If that’s the case, all you need to do is reset the password using your BYU Law email account as follows:
- Go to nytimes.com
- Click the blue (gray?) LOG IN button in the upper-right corner
- Enter your BYU Law email address
- Click the black “CONTINUE” button
- Click “Forgot your password?”
- Reset your password
- Log in with your new password
Our New York Times subscription has so many great things like:
- Cooking (My personal favorite. The NY Times has an awesome Cooking team, and you can save recipes.)
- Wirecutter (Curious about the best features on the new iOS 26? Need a yoga mat recommendation?)
- Supreme Court updates
- Travel
- Podcasts
- And of course, News.
“But what about games,” you ask? OK, our subscription does not include full access to games, but you can play the daily Wordle, Connections, Strands, and some of the other games (not the Mini, sorry).
If The NY Times is not your speed, you can set up an account for:
