Just in time for Black History Month, the Law Library has created a new collection in the LexisNexis Digital Library to support BYU Law School’s efforts to promote diversity, equity and belonging. We know law students are busy, so we purchased as many audiobooks as possible so you can listen while exercising, commuting, etc. Some books are only available in e-book format right now. You can listen to the audiobooks in your browser while logged into the LexisNexis Digital Library or using the app.

Download the App in Google Play.

Download the App in the App Store.

The books in the collection were recommended by Barbara Melendez, BYU Law School’s Director of Diversity, Equity & Belonging, during orientation last fall. The collection also includes other diversity and justice titles popular in law schools across the United States. Some examples of the titles we have are:

Quantities are very limited, and you may need to place a hold. If you don’t have time during the semester, make sure you put at least one of these books on your summer reading list! For questions and feedback, contact Iantha Haight.
